Flin Flonners could be heading to the polls this June to fill a vacancy on city council.
Mark Kolt, chief administrative officer for the city, said this week that a date in early June was being considered for the by-election.
The by-election became necessary when Coun. Leslie Beck resigned her seat last month so she could run for MLA.
This will be council’s first by-election since Dennis Ballard joined council nearly 20 years ago. He went on to become a two-term mayor before retiring in 2006.
