Drilling continues to confirm “significant potential” at a mineral deposit near Snow Lake, says an exploration company.
Ontario-based Wolfden Resources Corp. recently unveiled the latest assay results from diamond drilling at its Rice Island Property.
Every hole has intersected semi-massive and massive sulphides containing high-grade nickel and copper mineralization, the company said in a news release.
Eleven drill holes have tested the deposit in an initial drill program designed to confirm the grade, configuration and extent of mineralization encountered in historic drilling done in the 1940s, Wolfden said.
The company said drilling will resume shortly to focus on expanding the limits of mineralization and enlarging the deposit. Drill results will be released as they become available.
The Rice Island Property is located about 10 km south-southeast of
Snow Lake.
