Many children in needy families will have gifts under the tree this Christmas courtesy of a Main St. business. Northern Rainbows End recently donated 48 toys to be split between the Salvation Army and the Elks Club for their Christmas hamper campaigns. The total value was $500. Owner Leona Kemp also recently donated a bag full of toys to the Christmas gift campaign organized by Ida Kozar. A handful of toys also went to the Cold Lake School Committee for infants in Sherridon. The money for the gifts was raised through the recent Northern Rainbows End Charity Craft Sale at the Creighton Bingo Palace. Food items dropped off by those stopping by the sale have been given to the Salvation Army, Elks and Lord's Bounty Food Bank.
