Warehouse One is once again running its Denim Donor event for charity. Between Jan. 27 and Feb. 10, Flin Flon customers are invited to donate gently used jeans for a good cause. Over the past eight years, thanks to its customers, Warehouse One has donated over 71,000 pairs of jeans to shelters across Canada. Flin Flon and area families, women and children have been among the beneficiaries of this generosity. 'Our staff are working hard to get the word out to the public for this year's Denim Donor event for charity,' said Neil Armstrong, president of Warehouse One. 'In this ninth year of the event we hope to collect over 13,500 pairs of jeans (across Canada).' To encourage donations, the store is offering discounts to customers who donate one, two or three or more pairs of jeans. Warehouse One, a Canadian company, operates 120 stores across the country. The chain was founded in Winnipeg in 1977.
