Manitoba Status of Women will host a public consultation on domestic violence next week. The consultation will take place this Tuesday, April 24, from 1-4 p.m. at St. Ann's Parish Hall (163 Centre Street). Anyone planning to attend is asked to notify Status of Women by phoning 1-800-263-0234. Those unable to attend but who still wish to provide feedback may fill out an anonymous online survey at www.gov.mb.ca/msw/domestic_violence.html Written submissions may be made to: Manitoba Status of Women, c/o Domestic Violence Public Consultations, 409 - 401 York Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0P8. The consultation process is designed to glean feedback on how the province can strengthen efforts to prevent and address domestic violence.
