Two suspects remain on the loose after an assault in Denare Beach in March.

Trenton Laliberty, 21, of Denare Beach and an unidentified 15-year-old male have evaded RCMP since the incident on March 17.

Police responded to an assault at a Denare Beach home, finding an injured adult male. The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Two firearms and a vehicle, a black 2013 Ford F150 Supercab with Saskatchewan license plate 868 JPH, were reported missing from the home.

A third suspect, a 14-year-old male, was arrested on March 20 and faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, theft and resisting arrest.

After the attack, the two suspects are believed to have left the Flin FlonCreighton-Denare Beach area. Laliberty is not believed to have returned.

“We’ve had the entire province alerted to him being on the run still,” said Creighton RCMP Sgt. Sean McPhee. “Members are doing what they can to try and find him.”

Laliberty faces counts of aggravated assault, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, possess weapon for dangerous purpose, possession of firearm while prohibited, theft under $5,000 and fail to comply with probation.

He is described as about 200 pounds and six feet tall, with brown eyes and brown hair. He has multiple tattoos, including the words “LIVE” and “LIFE” tattooed on his knuckles and a cross on his right wrist.

It is believed the 15-yearold suspect has returned to the north, as officers have recently spotted him in Flin Flon. When pursued, the teenager escaped from officers.

“We know he’s back in Flin Flon. We had a few chances and almost got him, but he escaped,” said McPhee.

“He was with other guys who were wanted and he ran faster than they did. That’s how he’s still on the run.”

Officers are still searching for the 15-year-old.

“We know he’s back and we’ll keep the pressure on him. We want him in custody as fast as possible,” added McPhee.

The 14-year-old or the 15-year-old cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
