The Town of Creighton has handed out awards to four homeowners in its Light up in the Spirit of Christmas contest.
The contest recognizes residents with unique and beautiful seasonal decorations.
“We wanted to encourage people to get involved and get into the Christmas spirit,” says town recreation director Channa Senyk, who coordinates the contest.
Senyk says this is the second year that the town has offered cash prizes to winners.
“There were a lot more new people decorating this year,” she says. “I think it was because of the warm weather. It was really nice to see.”
The winners are showcased above.
Honourable mentions went to Jody and Jodi Suski on Collins St. and Dwight and Colleen Stallard on First Ave. West.
