Court proceedings for a woman accused of committing Flin Flon’s first homicide since 2012 have been remanded until next June.
At a court appearance in The Pas on Aug. 2, the case for Faith Rose Margaret Linklater was remanded until June 29, 2019. In the meantime, Linklater will be held in RCMP custody.
Linklater faces two charges, one count of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder after an incident reported to RCMP in May.
RCMP officers found two people with stab wounds at a home on Bellevue Avenue.
Both people were taken to hospital where one of the victims, an unidentified 23-year-old woman, died of her injuries.
If convicted, Linklater could face a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
