Flin Flon city council joined area residents Tuesday in mourning the passing of long-time resident and businessman Ray Daneliuk.
“In all the projects I worked on, he was always there for me, a hundred per cent, never turned me down for anything,” said Coun. Leslie Beck.
Beck called Daneliuk “a pillar of this community” who will be greatly missed.
Mayor Cal Huntley said council echoed those comments.
“Our thoughts go out to his family for sure,” said Huntley.
Daneliuk passed away Tuesday at the age of 62. His funeral is scheduled for this Tuesday, June 9 at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church.
