The City of Flin Flon has resolved a safety concern near the new primary health care facility being built at the former Community Hall parking lot. City council this week reviewed a letter expressing worry about parked vehicles partially blocking off Church St. beside the building. "There is only one lane left for traffic," wrote a concerned resident. "Since it is impossible to see what is coming now that all those vehicles are parked there, I am concerned that I will be hit by oncoming traffic. "Leaving the situation as it is puts a great number of motorists and pedestrians at risk." After reviewing the letter, Coun. Dave Law noted that the City has addressed the situation. "Hopefully the problems she's referring to have been alleviated," he said. Also this week, city council voted to offer to sell three lots ? 16 Wally Heights, 7 Hillcrest Ave. and 79 First Ave. ? to prospective buyers.
