It hasn't been an overly quiet holiday season so far for the Flin Flon RCMP. Police fielded nearly 30 calls between December 22 and December 28, including a break, enter and theft on South Hudson Street and a handful of fights. There was also a complaint of a hit and run at Northland Ford on December 23 and a stolen lawn ornament on Christmas day. Reports of mischief, intoxicated people, nuisance phone calls and a stolen vehicle from Ross Street have also come in. Police encourage anyone with information on any unsolved crime to contact them at 687-7488 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Lost money Flin Flon RCMP are looking for the owner of some cash recently found on Main Street. One week ago, on the afternoon of December 24, two separate wads of money were turned into police. The first was found outside the Great Canadian Dollar Store while the second was found inside the same business. The second amount of money was found inside an envelope. Police have not disclosed the amount of money turned in. Police ask anyone with information on the money, or who may have lost the cash themselves, to contact them at 687-7488.12/31/2003
