Pictured is Sandy Ward with husband Darren and son Michael receiving the Grand Prize in the Appliance Draw at North of 53 Co-op from General Manager, Greg Baribeau. Sandy's name was chosen by Santa on Christmas Eve from the 20 monthly winner semi-finalists. Sandy wins a side by side stainless steel refrigerator, a stainless steel smooth-top self cleaning range and a stainless steel built-in dishwasher (all by Whirlpool). The Grand Prize had an approximate retail value of just over $5,000. Sandy's name was drawn out of an estimated 35,000 entries over the course of the five month promotion. Second prize was won by Lorna Rice of Creighton winning a Whirlpool deluxe washer and dryer valued at $1,318. Third Prize was won by Carmen Gamblin of Cranberry Portage winning $400 in North of 53 Co-op gift certificates.
