The Traffic Commission has recommended that the City rent up to two loading zones adjacent to the Flin Flon Clinic to help alleviate a perceived parking shortage. The minutes of the latest commission meeting contain the recomendation that Scott Davidson, executive director of the clinic, be offered the loading zones for a monthly fee of $25 per zone. "The RCMP would respond to complaints from the clinic regarding unauthorized use of the loading zone(s)," read the minutes. The minutes stated that the clinic would be responsible for determining when unauthorized use of the spots is taking place. Last month, Flin Flon City Council reviewed a letter from Davidson stating that "Patients, often sick or handicapped, are not given an opportunity to park near the Flin Flon Clinic." "This, in my opinion, is a serious concern, as patients are being obstructed from getting the health services they need," wrote Davidson.
