Northminster Memorial United Church hosted a special birthday and anniversary celebration last Sunday, Sept. 20. Honoured for milestone anniversaries and birthdays were (from left) Ernie and Nellie Jebsen, who celebrated their 60th anniversary on Sept. 10; Isabel and Doug Gibson, who celebrated their 65th anniversary on Sept. 16; Judy Pettersen representing the church; and Lil Schuman, who turned 99 years old on Aug. 27. Isabel Gibson turns 99 on Dec. 2 while Doug Gibson will be 95 on Dec. 30.
