The Flin Flon Community Choir's practices for their Christmas concert, T'was In The Moon of Wintertime, are drawing to a close as performance night is rapidly approaching. Production manager Katy Anderson and Choir director Crystal Kolt are just putting the finishing touches on a Christmas concert that will please young and old alike. For this performance there will be about 74 choir members in the production. The first half will feature sacred carols along with the Nativity Scene and the second half will feature the hussle and bussle of the Christmas season with many familiar carols. Santa and Mrs. Claus have been invited and are expected to attend. There will be about 11 carols sung in each half, along with Buzz Trevor acting as the narrator. Everyone who comes to the concert is asked to bring a non perishable food item that will be donated to the Food Bank, or if you prefer a cash donation will be taken. Don't forget to mark your calendars for Saturday evening December 4 at 7 p.m. or Sunday afternoon December 5 at 2 p.m. and jump-start your Christmas celebration by letting us get you in the mood! See you at the R. H. Channing auditorium for a great time! And note tickets are going fast!
