Osoyoos Indian Band Chief Clarence Louie (middle), keynote speaker for the Flin Flon Aboriginal Friendship Centre’s Northern Connections Job Fair held Wednesday, was also guest speaker at a meet-and-greet sponsored by the Flin Flon and District Chamber of Commerce. Held Wednesday evening at Flin Flon City Hall Council Chambers, the event saw Louie speak to community leaders and chamber members on a range of issues, including economic development and treaties. Among those attending were, from left, Ald. Darren Grant of Creighton, Mayor Cal Huntley of Flin Flon, Chief Louie, Dianne Russell, president of the chamber of commerce, and Theresa Wride, Partners for Careers program counsellor at the Friendship Centre.
