Police in all three Prairie Provinces will press charges against two Alberta men arrested Sunday for robbing the Co-op gas station. Police nabbed the suspects on Highway 10 between Flin Flon and Cranberry Portage, not long after they allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the Main Street gas station. A police investigation revealed that seven detachments across Alberta and Saskatchewan were investigating the men for similar offences. Flin Flon RCMP have charged them with Theft Under $5,000. At about 12:40 p.m. Sunday, one of the men distracted the clerk at the gas station while the other entered an office and stole the cash, police said. Police located the men after the gas station attendant described their getaway vehicle.5/18/2004
