Area students will be exposed to the many opportunities available to them at a career symposium next week. The Career Highways symposium will be in Pelican Narrows and Sandy Bay on March 8 and Creighton and Deschambault Lake on March 9. Students will learn about a multitude of careers as well as information on high school prerequisites for various post-secondary programs. The symposium is a joint presentation of Creighton Regional Development Corporation, Neyanun Regional Recreation Authority, Prince Albert Grand Council and Human Resources Skills and Development. The public will be welcome to view the symposium at the Creighton Sportex on Wednesday, March 9, from 2-5:30 p.m.
