Flin Flonners can expect a knock at their doors this month for a good cause. Volunteers will brave the chilly January temperatures to conduct a door-to-door canvass for the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba. This will be the first time in a number of years that the Alzheimer's Society will hold a canvass in the community, according to coordinator Grace Crofford. Crofford, who previously oversaw a residential canvass for the United Way in Moose Jaw, Sask., hopes residents donate whatever they can to this worthy cause. Crofford already has a number of volunteers lined up but would certainly welcome more. Anyone interested in helping out may contact Grace at 687-4900.
