Flin Flonners have been receiving a knock at their door for a good cause. Well-bundled volunteers are out canvassing to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba this month. "I'm very, very pleased with all of the canvassers we have," said coordinator Grace Crofford. The money raised will be put toward research and providing support for families and caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease. January was chosen as the month of the canvass because it is Alzheimer's Awareness Month. Grace currently has 10 canvassers braving the chilly temperatures and could use some more help. She asks anyone interested in canvassing in Flin Flon to contact her at 687-4900.
