Children are being invited to add some fun and spirituality to their summer vacations next week at the Flin Flon Alliance Church. The Vacation Bible School, a week-long program for children entering kindergarten to grade 6, starts Monday. "The purpose is to have a good time and learn about God," said Pastor Doug Smith, an organizer. The program will run each afternoon from 1:30-4 and feature a Hawaiian theme, as students will see a mock volcano and hut. Activities will include outdoor games, crafts and a movie starring an adorable squirrel named Chatter. Twenty-five children are already signed up, and there's room for up to 35 more.
