Tuesday, June 2, 11 am: A call from 911 stated flames could be seen coming from Aspen Grove. Upon arrival, firefighters determined the flames were from workers flaring off the propane tanks. The on-call officer and 10 firefighters responded.

 

Thursday, June 4, 3:11 pm: A call from 911 stated there was a bush fire off Cliff Lake road. Upon arrival, firefighters found a large bush fire. Manitoba Conservation was called to assist with water bombers. The on-call officer and 21 firefighters responded.

 

Friday, June 5, 12:07 am: A call from 911 stated there was a bush fire north of Highway 10. Upon arrival, firefighters found a small fire that was quickly extinguished. The on-call officer and 10 firefighters responded.

 

Friday, June 5, 9:57 am: A cal from 911 stated there was a bush fire by Cliff Lake road. Upon arrival, firefighters found a fire, which was contained. Resources called in the alarm, as they required assistance. The on-call officer and 10 firefighters responded.

 

Friday, June 5, 7:16 pm: A call from 911 stated there was a bush fire off Cliff Lake road. Upon arrival, firefighters found a fire, which was contained. Resources called in the alarm, as they required assistance. The on-call officer and 14 firefighters responded.

 

Saturday, June 6, 12:40 am: A call from 911 stated there was a fire off Alder Avenue and Kingsway Boulevard. Upon arrival, firefighters found a small fire that had been extinguished by the RCMP. The on-call officer and 14 firefighters responded.

 

Wednesday, June 10, 5:31 am: A call from 911 stated there was a fire by Multicrete’s plant along Cliff Lake road. Upon arrival, firefighters found a fire in the large compost pile located on a property. The fire was a re-ignition from a previous fire. The fire chief and 12 firefighters responded.

 

Tuesday, June 16, 1:15 pm: A call from 911 stated smoke could be seen adjacent to Highway 10. Upon arrival, firefighters determined the cause of the smoke was a fire on Hudbay property. The fire chief and six firefighters responded.

 

Thursday, June 18, 2:38 pm: A call from 911 stated the ambulance required assistance with a passenger plane at the airport. Upon arrival, firefighters provided assistance. The fire chief and four firefighters responded.

 

Thursday, June 25, 5 pm: A call from 911 stated there was a bush fire at the airport. Upon arrival, firefighters found a fire, which was contained and quickly extinguished. The cause of the fire was a lightning strike. The fire chief and 12 firefighters responded.

 

Saturday, June 27, 3:52 pm: A call from 911 stated there was a bush fire off Highway 10. Upon arrival, firefighters found a fire, which was contained and quickly extinguished. The fire chief and seven firefighters responded.

 

Sunday, June 28, 6:45 pm: A call from 911 stated there was a bush fire by the railway trestle. Upon arrival, firefighters found a fire, which was contained and quickly extinguished. The fire chief and seven firefighters responded.
