Creighton RCMP are investigating the case of a sophisticated marijuana grow operation uncovered last week at Tyrell Lake. A police investigation led to last Thursday's discovery of the operation, which has been dismantled. No charges have been laid at this point. Police had also been investigating another possible grow operation in Denare Beach, but it turned out to be unfounded. Cst. Scott Baron said police continue their efforts to remove drugs from local streets and encourage anyone with information relative to the problem to contact their local RCMP. Creighton and Flin Flon callers may also supply tips to Manitoba Crime Stoppers by phoning 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
