It may be a question that particularly annoys parents everywhere, but over the weekend, it was one moviegoers wanted to hear. "Are We There Yet?" opened in top spot at the U.S. box office with an estimated gross of $18.5 million. The lighthearted comedy stars Ice Cube as a man handed the task of driving his girlfriend's rambunctious children 350 miles so they can see her during the holidays. Finishing in second place with $11 million was "Coach Carter," the critically-acclaimed feature starring Samuel L. Jackson as a no-nonsense high school basketball coach. Third went to the comedy blockbuster "Meet the Fockers," which continued its strong run with $10.2 million. Next with $8.5 million was the Dennis Quaid comedy "In Good Company," about a middle-aged executive whose daughter is dating his boss. Rounding out the top five with $7.06 million was "Racing Stripes," an animated feature about a zebra who thinks he's a racehorse. Rounding out the top ten were: "Assault on Precinct 13" ($7.02 million); "The Phantom of the Opera" ($5.01 million); "White Noise" ($5 million); "The Aviator" ($4.82 million); and "Elektra" ($3.83 million).
