A good-guy demon overtook top spot at the box office this weekend, as the live action comic book adaptation "Hellboy" grossed $23.5 million in the United States. Starring Ron Perlman, the tale of an "anti-hero from hell" finished ahead of The Rock's latest offering, "Walking Tall," which made $15.3 million. The previous weekend's top movie, "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed," slipped to third spot, raking in $15.08 million. Disney's new animated feature, "Home on the Range," came in fourth with $14 million and the Julia Stiles romance "The Prince and Me" rounded out the top five with a $10 million take. The most talked about film in years, "The Passion of the Christ," finished sixth with $9.9 million while Tom Hanks' return to comedy in "The Ladykillers" continued to disappoint with revenues of $7 million in its second weekend. Rounding out the top ten were "Jersey Girl" ($5.1 million); "Dawn of the Dead" $4.3 million; and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" ($3.5 million.)
