A star-studded cast helped propel the new heist film "Ocean's Twelve" to top spot at the U.S. box office over the weekend. With Brad Pitt, Catherine Zeta-Jones, George Clooney, Julia Roberts and others, the sequel to 2001's "Ocean's Eleven" debuted with $40.9 million. Another new release, the Wesley Snipes feature "Blade: Trinity," based on the comic book series about a vampire hunter, made $16.1 million. Third place went to "National Treasure," starring Nicolas Cage, which continued its strong run with $9.98 million. "The Polar Express," a holiday-themed offering featuring the voice of Tom Hanks, was next with $9.77 million. The Tim Allen comedy "Christmas with the Kranks" rounded out the top five with $7.6 million. Rounding out the top ten were: "The Incredibles" ($5.04 million); "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie" ($4.36 million); "Closer" ($3.75 million); "Finding Neverland" ($1.69 million); "Alexander" ($1.41 million). 12/13/2004
