Bikers from Flin Flon, Creighton and beyond rallied together for the annual Run to the Border poker run, toy run and annual Biker’s Social this past weekend.
Riders made their way towards Cranberry Portage in the morning for the poker run, then out to the Flin Flon Motorcycle Association’s clubhouse outside of Creighton for the toy run near lunchtime.
All toys collected will be donated to the Flin Flon Aboriginal Friendship Centre’s Christmas gift program.
Later in the evening was the much-anticipated bike draw at the Biker’s Social, held at the Creighton Sportex Saturday evening. This year’s lucky winner was Aaron Dowding, who had not yet picked up his prize as of press time.
Funds raised through the Run to the Border weekend are donated to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
A 50/50 draw was also held at the social with $1,000 donated to the MS Walk, slated for this coming Sunday.
