One more big home win for the Bombers came Friday night - and this time, it's a shutout.
Flin Flon grabbed a 4-0 win at the Whitney Forum over the Kindersley Klippers, who beat the Bombers at the SJHL Showcase in Warman earlier this week.
The game was scoreless until about the halfway point of period two, when Xavier Lapointe broke the goose-egg with his third goal of the season. Zak Smith and Jeremi Tremblay both added goals late in the period. Come time for the third, Tremblay added his second goal of the night to ice the Flin Flon win.
Cal Schell got his second shutout in as many starts with the Bombers, making 26 saves on the night. The Bombers improved on figuring out Klippers goalie Brent Sweet - despite Sweet holding the Bombers to only one goal earlier this week, he gave up four Friday night, making 32 saves.
The Bombers and Klippers will face off again at the Whitney Forum Saturday night.
