The body found in a truck submerged near Pelican Narrows was indeed that of James Joseph Gallagher, RCMP have confirmed. An autopsy in Saskatoon last week confirmed the identity via dental records. The death is not deemed to be suspicious and foul play is not suspected. Gallagher, 71, went missing from White Fox, Sask., last November. Appearing confused, he was last seen alive near Creighton. Police recently discovered Gallagher's truck in McLurg Lake just off Highway No. 135, about 20 km south of Pelican Narrows.
