A throwaway dog with no one who cared, I was out on the street, so scared and so hungry. Christine picked me up and took me into her home, A pat, a kind word, and a full belly finally. She was the first to show kindness to me. Also Darren and his little boy who liked to play. They named me Blake and kept me three weeks, I'm indebted to all of them each and every day. Now I live at Stillwater Kennels And have a bone of my own, And lots of canine company While I wait for my forever home. Torrie, Quinn and Clancy All found a new master. Why not me? Oh please tell me Just what is the matter? I know I'm a little gangly and awkward. And my hair is a real bad do, But just wait a while, And these feet I'll grow into. A brush and a comb Will fix up the rest, With a brand new collar I'll be at my best. Here at the kennel I'm becoming quite social. I've made lots of new friends, oh what fun! We swim and we chase muskrats, Quinn is my hero 'cause she caught one. With Sherry and Mary I walk and I play. Lisa and Lynn both teach me to "stay". Shannon and Penny mop and bring treats. Everyday is a party for mutts of the SPCA. They're getting me ready For my next big move. They say I need a home of my own And a person to love. A dog needs a friend to love and bring joy. Please come see me, then take me home. I'll make you proud, just give me a chance. I'm a throwaway dog who doesn't want to be alone.
