Residents are invited to a pair of barbecues in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The first barbecue takes place today, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside Scorpio Bearing and Auto, in the downtown industrial area. Then tomorrow, June 8, also from 11 a.m. to p.m., will be another barbecue outside Eddie's Family Foods. Everyone is welcome to stop by for a reasonably priced lunch of a hot dog, salad and drink. All proceeds go to the J u v e n i l e Di a b e t e Research Foundation's Walk for the Cure event being held this Sunday in The Pas.
