A stolen BB gun and an attempted break-in helped keep Flin Flin RCMP busy over the long weekend. Sometime between 10 p.m. last Friday, Aug. 30, and 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, one or more perpetrators stole a BB gun from a vehicle on Hapnot Street. Also at some point during the long weekend, one or more individuals unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry into a garage on Hill Street. Over the long weekend, police also responded to 11 disturbances and four false alarms. There were two incidents involving the Intoxicated Person's Detention Act, one incident involving the Off-Road Vehicle Act and one report of a suspicious person. Flin Flon RCMP ask anyone with information on the BB gun theft, the attempted break-in or any other unsolved crime to contact them at 204-687-1423.
