Close to 100 people enjoyed an entertaining night out Saturday while helping a good cause. Ducks Unlimited held its 21st Annual Banquet and Auction at the R.H. Channing Auditorium, with all proceeds going to helping to preserve wetlands. "All in all, it was a great success," said member David Brooks. "I think everybody who went really enjoyed themselves." The auction included a variety of items quite popular with the crowd, including framed prints, an office chair, and a Coca-Cola collector sign. The group won't know for another week how much the event raised. The dinner and auction was followed by a dance with pre-recorded music.
