For those of us who plan on watching the Juno Beach 60th Commemoration Ceremonies, there is an added reason to be alert. A local constable in the Flin Flon RCMP detachment was selected to represent the "RCMP" over there. He is one of 22 members selected from across Canada, the only one from Manitoba. Cst. Chuck Gareau is over in the area right now preparing for the ceremonies. Congratulations Chuck, we shall be watching for you! Hopefully we will be able to follow up with a complete story of Chuck's trip when he returns.
