RCMP arrested a 38-year-old suspect from The Pas on Dec. 28 after a Duck Bay man was killed.
Marvin Chartrand had an arrest warrant for second-degree murder and was arrested without incident in Duck Bay, police said.
Meanwhile, Joan Maria Nicholas, 32, has been charged with aggravated assault in the Jan. 2 stabbing death of a man in Norway House.
On Friday, Jan. 1, shortly after 1 pm, Norway House RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence on the reserve.
Officers attended the residence and located an injured man, 31, lying on the floor. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigators were informed at about 4 am on Jan. 2 that he had passed away.
Nicholas is from Norway House.
