Creighton RCMP have arrested a Flin Flon youth charged with making off in a car without the owner's knowledge. Police apprehended the youth early Sunday morning in Creighton, several hours after the car had been reported as stolen from outside a Flin Flon business. The youth, who cannot be named due to his age, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime exceeding $5,000 and taking a motor vehicle without the owner's consent. He was also charged with failing to obey a stop sign and driving with only a learner's license, police said. The young offender was released and is slated to appear in court next month.12/23/2003
