A teenager has been arrested in connection with an assault in Denare Beach.
The 14-year-old male was arrested without incident on March 20 in Flin Flon.
“Public support is what led to us finding this first kid,” said Creighton RCMP Sgt. Sean McPhee.
Police responded to an assault at a residence in Denare Beach on March 17, where an adult male was found and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The 14-year-old faces several charges including aggravated assault, resisting arrest and two counts of theft – one over $5,000 and one under $5,000.
A vehicle and two firearms were reported missing from the home – McPhee confirmed that none of the missing items have been located.
The vehicle is described as a black 2013 Ford F150 Supercab, with the Saskatchewan license plate 868 JPH.
Trenton Laliberty, 21, of Denare Beach and an unidentified 15-year-old male are both wanted by RCMP in relation to the incident. Each faces multiple charges.
Neither of the young offenders can be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The search for the two at-large suspects has expanded beyond Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach.
“The information has been put out to all detachments in northern Saskatchewan, as well as Prince Albert and Saskatoon. They're all assisting us in finding them,” said McPhee.
RCMP have received leads in locating the two suspects. Members of the public are advised to not approach the individuals or the vehicle, and to report any sightings of either. The individuals may be armed and are considered dangerous.
