A man has been arrested after an incident at a local bar.
Flin Flon RCMP responded to a complaint of a disturbance on Main Street at approximately 8:43 p.m. on Dec. 27.
An unknown male was reported to be fighting with staff at a local bar and was harassing patrons.
As police arrived on scene, a suspect matching the description was observed walking away from the area.
He was arrested, became resistant and assaulted police.
Police learned after the man’s arrest that he was also suspected of assaulting a staff member from the bar.
Brian Travis Daniels, 33, of Pukatawagan, MB has been charged with assaulting a police officer, assault, resist arrest, and causing a
disturbance.
Daniels was remanded in custody and had his first appearance in The Pas provincial court on Monday.
The matter is still under investigation and other charges may be pending.
