Police arrested an armed man in Cranberry Portage Thursday morning.
At about 11:32 am, Cranberry Portage RCMP responded to a report of an armed male in a residence.
With the assistance of Mounties from Flin Flon and The Pas, officers arrested the man without incident.
As a precaution, Frontier Collegiate Institute and Cranberry Portage Elementary were locked down for about one hour.
Police issued a news release on the incident shortly after 2 pm on Thursday. They provided no further information.
