Burglars recently snatched cash and jewelry from an uptown home in a brazen theft carried out in broad daylight. On Friday, April 16, sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., one or more thieves entered a Creighton Street home through an unlocked back door. An undisclosed amount of money and jewelry was stolen, the second such robbery in less than a week. Six days earlier, on Saturday, April 10, one or more culprits stole cash and jewelry from a Prince Charles Place residence, gaining access to the home by forcing open a basement window. Flin Flon RCMP ask anyone with information on either of these crimes to contact them at 687-7488 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Callers to Crime Stoppers need never reveal their identity and may become eligible for a cash reward.
