Some 250 people packed the R.H. Channing Auditorium on Tuesday for a dinner to help kick off the new sessions of Alpha. A delicious aroma filled the auditorium as the well-dressed guests dined on meatball salad and strawberry shortcake. Many people who have gone through Alpha, an introduction to Christianity course, were on hand, as were those planning to enroll. Alpha, Youth Alpha and A Life Worth Living, sometimes called Alpha II, begin next week. To register or for more information, contact Sally at 687-3858. There is no registration fee. Pastor Doug Smith of the Flin Flon Alliance Church noted that more than 500 people have gone through the Alpha program in Flin Flon. "It's quite amazing how well it's gone," he commented.9/18/2003
