The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Momo's Veggie Kitchen Limited are warning people with allergies to wheat not to consume the various MoMo's Veggie Kitchen products listed below. The affected products may contain wheat which is not declared on the label. This alert is of concern to those individuals who have allergies to wheat. All Best Before dates of the following MoMo's Veggie Kitchen products are affected by this alert. Here are the product size and UPC codes of the affected products: Mo'Beef Veggie Burger, 170 g 6 88502 10060 4 Mo'Chicken Veggie Burger, 170 g 6 88502 10070 3 Mo'Rainbow Veggie Fish, 250 g 6 88502 30030 1 Mariner's Veggie Delightt, 200 g 6 88502 30010 3 The manufacturer, Momo's Veggie Kitchen Limited, Richmond, British Columbia, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The affected products have been distributed across Canada. Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to wheat. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
