Court proceedings are ongoing for a suspect in Flin Flon’s most recent violent death.
23-year-old Faith Rose Margaret Linklater faces one count of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
Linklater’s next court date is scheduled for June 25 in The Pas. She remains in police custody. Linklater has had two court appearances in The Pas since her arrest.
Linklater was arrested in connection with an incident at a home on Bellevue Avenue on May 19. Officers responded to the home that morning and found two people had been stabbed. Both of the victims were taken to hospital – one of the two, a 23-year-old woman from Flin Flon who has not been identified by RCMP, died of her injuries.
Members of the RCMP Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Services were transported to Flin Flon to investigate.
The 23-year-old was the first person to die after a violent crime in Flin Flon since May 2012.
