With class back in session, motorists are reminded to drive with added caution around schools.
Classes resumed this week at all five local schools: Hapnot Collegiate, Many Faces Education Centre, Ruth Betts Community School, École McIsaac School and Creighton Community School.
Crossing guards were back on duty to help ensure students make it home safely.
At Tuesday’s city council meeting, Coun. Ken Pawlachuk reminded the public that despite misconceptions to the contrary, the speed limit in front of Hapnot Collegiate is 30 km an hour.
