Women of all ages have an exciting new option for fashions and accessories.

Newest Wrinkle is now open at 78 Main Street in Flin Flon (formerly Sturley’s Electronics).

“Since I love clothing and fashion, I thought it would be fun to open a ladies’ fashion boutique,” says owner Paulette Berthelot. “I think the choices for clothing in the North can be a little limited, and it would be nice to have another store to complement what we have now.”

Newest Wrinkle will carry clothing for a wide age group, from the younger generation to middle-age to more mature, sophisticated ladies. Sizes will vary from extra small to extra large.

For now there is a limited selection in plus sizes, but Berthelot is working to expand her selection.

In addition to clothing such as dresses, tops and bottoms, Newest Wrinkle offers a nice selection of comfortable, quality jeans such as Yoga Jeans, French Dressing Jeans and Parasuco Jeans. Another line of jeans is coming soon.

“We carry a nice selection of shoes, lots of  purses, jewellery and accessories,” says Berthelot. “We also carry a workout line   and in January will have our resort line.”

Berthelot’s goal is to carry only a few  pieces of each item in order to keep it unique.

As for the name, newest wrinkle is fashion lingo for the newest style – and that’s just what Berthelot hopes to bring to her customers.

“We were open for a sneak preview during Trout Festival and the response was amazing,  people were so excited!” says Berthelot. “My commitment to my customers is to provide some unique clothing at reasonable prices and hopefully something to please everyone.”

Berthelot is no stranger to the local business community, having owned and operated PB Craftique, which later became Northern Rainbow’s End.

For now Newest Wrinkle will not be selling products online, though customers are encouraged to visit her Facebook and Instagram pages. A website is also in the works.
