It is easy to get caught up in the hustle of bustle of life at the best of times – and more so during the Christmas season.
Nonetheless, it is important that Flin Flon and area residents take a moment to recognize that while a good many of us are blessed, countless among us are struggling to scrape by.
So let us all make a pledge, here and now, to do something – no matter how small – to help someone in need in the coming days.
Drop some cash in a Salvation Army kettle. Put cans of soup in the food bank collection bin at the grocery store. Send a card to a neighbour far from family.
Those are the sorts of things that really make this the most magical time of the year.
