A Flin Flon man has received an 18-month conditional sentence after pleading guilty to multiple counts of voyeurism and mischief. Shelly Husberg, 49, was arrested in The Pas in August 2011 after RCMP received a call from a woman who claimed to have seen a suspicious man outside her window. Police said he was found to be in possession of a handheld video camera. RCMP later executed a search warrant on his vehicle and home. He was originally charged with two counts of voyeurism and one count of trespassing at night. Later, three more voyeurism charges and 18 counts of mischief, relating to incidents from 2008, were added. Last October, Husberg pleaded guilty to five counts of voyeurism and 11 counts of mischief. All other charges were dropped. He was sentenced in late 2012. In addition to an 18-month conditional sentence, he received 12 months of supervised probation.
