Laughter was on the menu at Hapnot Collegi-ate’s dinner theatre.
Students performed Willa Wonkie and the College Tour (Chocolate Not Included), a zany parody of Willy Wonka, last Wednesday, Feb. 24 and Thursday, Feb. 25.
“The kids did a really good job, they remembered all their lines, the audience was receptive,” said Corinne Mathews, co-director along with Kim Jones. “I think it went really well.”
More than 80 people attended each of the two performances of the play, a non-musical comedy, in the school gymnasium.
An enthusiastic cast of 14 students brought the production to life, with nearly half of them newcomers to dinner theatre, a long-running Hapnot tradition.
