Summer seemed exceptionally short this year, but the Lions Spray Pool in Creighton didn’t suffer.
Creighton recreation director Channa Senyk says the pool was only closed twice this summer – compared to countless times last summer.
The spray pool saw 1,500 children – a much higher attendance than
last year.
To help close out a successful season, Senyk hosted an annual year-
end party Friday, Aug 22 with games, hot dogs, prizes, and of course, splashing.
Approximately 40
children attended this year’s party. Children ate, swam, fished with magnets, drew on the sidewalk with chalk, and played with a parachute.
