What do you get when you combine hip-hop, spoken word, dance, folk music, tradition and a message of hope?
On Tuesday, August 1, area residents will get the chance to find out.
Flin Flon will host The Dream Catchers, a performance organized by the Flin Flon Arts Council.
Launched as a Canada 150 project by the Prince Edward Island-based Confederation Centre of the Arts, the performance features original music and dance from a number of Canadian artists.
The Dream Catchers performance is part of a Canada-wide tour, taking the show and workshop across all 10 provinces and three territories.
The show will take place at Rotary Park at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 1 and is free to attend. It is the only scheduled performance in northern Manitoba during the tour.
